A native of Co. Kings, Rhode Island, Died Apr. 28, 1829 aged 85 years
Also his wife, Ruth died May 14, 1833 aged 89 years.  As we have the
image of the earthly, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly
(last line under ground). Took a crayon on paper rubbing July 1987

Pioneer Hoyt Cemetery, Hoyt Station, New Brunswick. Stones painted white by
Bayard Hoyt, just prior to our visit there in July 1987. The stone was also
erected by him. The cemetery was on his land.
